His Majesty The King sends congratulatory birthday cards for

• 100th and
• 105th birthdays

and then every year thereafter.

The Lieutenant Governor will send his own congratulatory card. In addition, this includes those celebrating 90th birthdays.

The delivery of these cards is arranged by Government House.

There is no automatic alert from Isle of Man Government departments for birthdays.

To arrange for a card to be sent, you should contact us by email or letter 4 weeks before the special day and include the following:

• A copy of the celebrant's birth certificate or passport (not needed for 90th birthday cards from the Lieutenant Governor)

• The celebrant's full name, current address, date of birth and maiden name (if applicable)

• Contact details of applicant, including name, address and phone number
